One man was left seriously injured after a shooting reportedly occurred near Drake's home.

In the early hours of Tuesday morning, May 7, police in Toronto responded to Drake's home on Park Lane Circle after a shooting happened in the area of Bayview Ave and Lawrence Ave East. According to local news reports, emergency crews arrived at Drake's home after 2 a.m. and tended to one man who had non-life-threatening injuries. Drake was not touched but the man had to be rushed to a nearby hospital. The suspect reportedly fled the scene in an unknown vehicle. Police have been on Drake's block ever since.

According to CBC's report, the victim was a security guard who struck during an apparent drive-by shooting. The incident happened just as the dust from Drake and Kendrick Lamar's high-profile beef was starting to settle. Over the past six weeks, both superstar rappers have been going back-and-forth with numerous diss tracks and jabs on social media. Drake unleashed songs against Lamar like "Push Ups" and "Taylor Made Freestyle," in which he berated Lamar and made shocking claims about his family. Last week, K Dot finally responded with several diss tracks including "Euphoria," "6:16 in L.A.," "Meet The Grahams" and "Not Like Us."

Kendrick's latter track was full of allegations about Drake's alleged affinity for underaged girls among other reckless claims. Not only has it become a hit among fans, but it also inspired Drake to release his most recent response "The Heart Part 6." Drizzy vehemently denied Lamar's allegations and doubled down on his own claims that Kendrick Lamar's manager Dave Free is the father of one of his children with partner Whitney Alford.
