The Cleveland Police Department Bomb Squad responded to two bomb threats Monday afterwards, both turned out to be hoaxs. At around 2:45 Monday afternoon a suspicious package was found in the Federal Building Downtown.
Lakeside Avenue had to be closed between East 9th Street and Ontario Street until that situation was resolved. The Federal Building was evacuted and several surrounding buildings were put on lockdown.
Investigators found a non-explosive device.
Shortly afterwards the Bomb Squad responded to the Steelyard Commons Walmart. A roads leading to Walmart were shut down and the store had to be evacuated. A non-explosive device was located. The owner of the package was arrested for inducing panic.
