(Solon) - Cleveland FBI agents, SWAT officers, and Solon Police were involved in a standoff Wednesday moring on Liberty Road.

When a tactical team entered the house, it was empty.

It started about 10:00 p.m. Tuesday night when officers tried serving Alex Spirikaitis with an embezzlement related warrant.

Spirikaitis is wanted in the closure of the Taupa Lithuanian Credit Union on East 185 Street in Cleveland.

The credit union was shut down last Friday by the National Credit Union Association.

Cleveland FBI spokeswoman Vicky Anderson says it's unclear how much Spirikaitis may have taken from the credit union as their investigation is in its' infancy.

Tips regarding Spirikaitis can be provided to the Cleveland office of the FBI at 216-522-1400. Tips can remain anonymous.

Reward money is available for information leading to the successful apprehension and prosecution of Spirikaitis.
