(Bedford) -- Bond has been set at $1 million for a Warrensville Heights man accused of being responsible for a two-car crash Friday night that killed a pregnant woman and her unborn child along with two of her children.
Eric Calhoun, 48, was charged Monday with four counts of aggravated vehicular homicide. His bond was set in Bedford Municipal Court. Bedford police say there could be other charges, as a 10-year-old who was also in the car is in critical condition and on a ventilator.
Maria Thorpe, 30, Zariah Roberts, 8, and Zayanah Roberts, 5, were all killed in the crash at Northfield Road and Berwin Drive. The fourth charge is for the unborn baby.
Calhoun is being moved to the Cuyahoga County jail and his case will be presented to a county grand jury.
