Another stupid TikTok challenge has landed a middle school student in the hospital.
This one’s called the “blackout challenge,” where you’re supposed to “hold your breath until you pass out.”
At South Orange Middle School, in New Jersey, two students are said to have passed out doing the “challenge,” and one of those two had to go to the hospital because of struggling breathing after they came to.
The school is asking parents to “discuss the dangers” that can be “associated with social media challenges” with their kids.
